Hinge

Love Finds a Way

Dating didn’t stop when the world shut down. It just changed shape.

In March 2020, while contracting as a designer for Hinge, the world went into lockdown. As social distancing took over, the brand faced a real question: what happens to dating when no one can meet?

My creative partner Dan and I believed something simpler and more human: Love doesn’t disappear under pressure.

Just days into working from home, we pitched an idea directly to Hinge’s CMO: a social-first content series following two people falling in love from their homes—separated physically, connected emotionally.

The result became Hinge’s most successful content to date, proving that intimacy, vulnerability, and connection don’t require proximity—just a place to land.

Unfortunately for us, Hinge cheekily deleted all their social media in a creative PR stunt to reflect the spirit of the “designed to be deleted” dating app. The status of this pandemic couple remains a mystery to this day.
